SNHU's master's in Health Information Management is not accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Health Information Management (CAHIIM), though the program is designed to align to standards set by CAHIIM. As a result, completion of the MS in Health Information Management alone does not adequately prepare learners to be eligible to sit for the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) exam or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) exam. Students should verify that they meet all requirements to sit for the RHIA or RHIT exam.
